May Day

Who decided to make the combination of the words "May Day" be a call for help? And should we all brace ourselves because we now have 31 more of these May Days to come? :)

May Day also seems to be a holiday for the 'common people'. Found a few websites that were Canadian... maybe a canadian holiday?
