In the late 90s (egad!) - I created a personal website and it took on the url "JenYee.com" (now expired) and it has transpired into this Blog. I lost the URL for a few months in 2008 and freaked out. But a year later, it expired without warning again - and suddenly... i don't mind that JenYee.com has disappeared. I guess life has brought more things to worry about more! :)

A Turducken Christmas
My first L.A. Christmas was celebrated by another first... having a genuine Louisiana Turducken as the main course for Christmas Eve Dinner!
This amazing 16lb treat contained a chicken rolled into a duck, rolled into a Turkey... lined with stuffing between each one...
It was a hit! Nearly all of the Turducken was finished off by the end of the night!
As far as I can remember, this might be my first Christmas in L.A. I'm pretty excited about that... mainly because i can spend it in my own home and entertain my family who decided to come out here instead! :)
As tough as this year was, it was still great steps forward. And through the tough spots, some really great moments emerged from them too! I visited China and Hong Kong, I made it through another successful year with my "hard-to-please-is-an-understatement" client, my condo is still in great shape, my car made it through some crazy repairs at the edge of the remaining warranty, we moved into the 21st Century by getting cable - AND Tivo, Herm just got AWESOME news about his job situation, and i just feel like things are really starting to fall into place.
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY Holidays everyone! :) Stay safe and be nice to others! :)
So my brother's back from his trip, but it's still fun to check out the Tai Pei webcam anyway. I'm adding a Burbank webcam just to compare. Seems like it's always rainy over there in Taiwan... it's been in the 70s in this side of the hemisphere. :)

Christmas Lights and Mini Tree are now UP! :) Pics to come...
Today I wore my "Fuzzy Fur" jacket. You know, the type with the furry rimmed hoods? I gotta say that when I first got it as a gift, I wasn't sure when i'd ever wear such a dramatic display of faux fuzz... But it's actually really comfortable and it oddly makes me feel a litle 'dressed up' just for wearing a coat.
I think J.Lo wore these a few times in her summer music videos - so I gotta recognize that perk too! (haha)
Anyway... work's crazy again - and it really shouldn't be, but it is... so I just roll with it and hope it eventually smooths out. Meanwhile, it's supposed to rain tomorrow... so everyone should get warm and cozy... like my buddy Sheba, the Huggable Pug...
