Giggles and getting a Game Ball

Get the JOKE?

Our company team didn't win tonight's softball match, but I made 2 runs to Home and that's a RECORD in my book! :) And the team was so sweet to reward me with the "game" ball afterwards. Now i just need to get my own Bat and i'll be set! :)

She can cross "hugging a penguin" off her To-Do list...

Niki's got this great job where she can rub shoulders with famous celebrities... but now it looks like she's getting all lovey-dovey with them! :)

I'm assuming this tuxedo spiffy guy had a close-up during the filming of March of the Penguins... but i never did confirm...

Live in your dream house, and not have to win the lottery!

Have you ever walked passed gorgeous houses along the beach or in fancy neighborhoods, and wonder how there could possibly be so many lucky rich people?

That lucky bastard chilling on a hammock in front of a gigantic pool, could be YOU! How? If you RENTED a fancy place from those rich people! So you save up for a few months in exchange for a few days of pure bliss... but that's better than paying the mortgage bill right? :)

Go Find Your Dream Rental!

Another one escapes...

Hey Bradshaw!!!

Don't forget us little people when you go off to your new big job!

The trouts were biting in Mammoth!

Another weekend getaway - this time to Mammoth to catch fish. Although I caught Zilch, the rest of our group pulled out a total of 7 fishies from the various fishing spots we were at... Not too shabby. :) We also had a family of deer come right into our campsite in daylight... and as we were fishing on another day, it started to snow... and we also visited some natural hot springs and chilled out in Mother Nature's free Jacuzzi. :)

Does this remind you of someone you know?

You Know You Want It

So last weekend was a great getaway. Went to Leo Carillo (north of Pepperdine) for 2 quick nights of BEACH Camping... which sadly wasn't really camping out in front of the beach but pretty close to it.

We went out to the shore on Friday night and saw these alien like beings - who on closer inspection - turned out to be divers going to hunt for Lobsters. (Lobster hunting season began at 12:01am Oct. 1) As we were putsing around on the beach we realized our steps had the "Billy Jean" effect. Each step lit up for 2 seconds!

We found out this was called Bio-Luminescence - and it happened when certain organisms in the water react to each other... and so everything from waves crashing - to us stepping on wet sand - was causing quick blue flashes of light. Very amazing stuff. Definitely will do more trips like that next year for the summer season.
